First off, what is ‘Nitro’ beer? Well it’s basically the same as normal beer, but the fizz comes from nitrogen instead of carbon dioxode. What does that do to the drinking experience? It makes the drink a tiny bit smoother, but the main difference is that the bubbles are much smaller and longer lasting. That’s pretty much it. Now, to the beer itself.
This is definitely my overall favorite stout, if not all beers period. It’s that good! The Milk Stout is also the beer that put Left Hand Brewing on the map in most people’s minds. Dark, rich, smooth, creamy, subtle sweetness and little-to-no bitterness. Milk Stout is everything you want in a beer. Even if you don’t think you do, you still do. If there’s ever a beer that I would keep a couple of in my fridge at all times, this is it.
TL;DR – Try this beer.
